1. What is the Proton X90 designed for?
The Proton X90 is a 7-seater SUV designed mainly for space, comfort and family practicality. It offers a larger cabin and three-row seating, making it a good choice for families or anyone who prioritises passenger space and comfort.
Unlike the X50 and X70, the X90 focuses less on sporty driving or advanced driving technology and more on providing a spacious and comfortable 7-seater experience.
One thing to note is that even the top-spec Prime X does not come with an ADAS package. If ADAS is a priority for you, this is something worth considering before choosing the X90.
2. Which Proton X90 variant should I choose?
The differences between the Proton X90 variants are mainly in convenience and seating comfort, rather than major performance upgrades.
The Lite already provides the essential space and comfort you would expect from a 7-seater family SUV. The Prime adds more convenience features for everyday driving, including a 360° HD camera, TPMS and front parking sensors.
The Prime X offers the most noticeable upgrade in passenger comfort, with second-row captain seats, ventilated front seats and Nappa leather seats, making it the better choice if comfort is your priority.
There is no single variant that I strongly recommend. If you mainly need a spacious and comfortable 7-seater, the Lite may already be enough. Go for the Prime if you want more everyday convenience, or the Prime X if the captain seats and extra seating comfort are worth it to you.
3. How long is the waiting time?
The usual waiting time is around 1–2 months, depending on the variant, colour and current stock availability.
4. Can I apply for a full loan?

5. Can I trade in my current car?
Yes. You can trade in your current car when purchasing a new Proton. Trade-in rebates may also be available during selected promotions.
