1. What is the difference between the Proton X50 and X70?
The X50 is smaller and more agile, with a sportier and more youthful design. It’s a great choice if you prefer a more dynamic SUV for everyday city driving.
The X70 is larger and more spacious, with a more mature and refined design. It focuses more on space, comfort and refinement, making it a better choice if you prioritise comfort and practicality.
Both are powered by a 1.5L turbocharged engine, so there isn’t a huge difference in overall performance. The main difference is more about the size, driving feel, space and character of the two SUVs.
2. Which Proton X70 variant should I choose?
The Executive and Premium are very similar in terms of design, comfort and everyday features. There is no major difference in their exterior appearance, and most of the key features are already available in the Executive.
The main reason to choose the Premium is the ADAS package, which provides a more complete set of advanced driver assistance and safety features.
If you don’t need ADAS, the Executive already offers a very complete package and is the better-value choice. If you prioritise more advanced safety features, go for the Premium.
3. How long is the waiting time?
The usual waiting time is around 1–2 months, depending on the variant, colour and current stock availability.
4. Can I apply for a full loan?
