1. What is the Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV?
The Proton e.MAS 7 PHEV is a plug-in hybrid SUV that combines electric driving with a petrol engine.
For shorter daily trips, you can use electric power and charge the car like an EV. For longer journeys, the petrol engine gives you the flexibility to continue driving without relying entirely on charging stations.
This makes it a good choice for drivers who want the smoothness and efficiency of electric driving, but still regularly travel long distances or are not ready to depend completely on a full EV.
In simple terms: it gives you the benefits of an EV for daily driving, with the flexibility of petrol for longer journeys.
2. Which Proton eMas 7 phev variant should I choose?
The Prime is a good choice if you mainly want the space, comfort and flexibility of the e.MAS 7 PHEV at a lower price. It already comes with the essential features for everyday driving.
The Premium is the variant I would recommend for most buyers. It adds more comfort, safety and convenience features while keeping a good balance between price and equipment.
The Premium Plus is the best choice if you want to maximise the PHEV experience. It comes with the larger 29.8kWh battery, offering up to 170km EV driving range and 1,065km combined range, compared with 105km EV range and 1,000km combined range for Prime and Premium. It also adds more premium comfort and convenience features.
For most buyers, I would prioritise the Premium. If you want to use electric-only driving as much as possible, the Premium Plus becomes much more worthwhile because of its significantly longer EV range.
3. How long is the waiting time?
The usual waiting time is around 1-2 months, depending on the variant, colour and current stock availability.
4. Can I apply for a full loan?
